“We are not what happened to us, we are what we wish to become”. Carl Jung

I have also trained in BWRT, Brain Working Recursive Therapy, Level 1 and Level 2. I was so blown away by this new form of therapy that I even did the Transformational Coaching Diploma. The results achieved are unbelievable. One process can resolve new and old trauma, deeply seated anxiety, lack of self-esteem and belief in oneself, phobias. A few sessions, between 4 and 10, can change forever issues like addiction, personality disorders, depression, PTSD, OCD and so on. The therapy creates new neuronal pathways and the changes are permanent. I wouldn't have believed myself if I hadn't seen it happen many times by now. Also, it is not important that the client shares all the details of the trauma or the issue he/she wants to work with. This is very helpful for people who do not want to open up completely and feel uneasy sharing some details. After 36 years of practice in psychotherapy I really did not expect something to change completely the way I work and give me such renewed joy in seeing the success of the therapy I do. I have never believed in quick fixes and I always went the long, painful route, which was successful when there was a commitment to work through to the end. This new technique though allows to work directly with the brain and change things quickly and for good. Some traditional work is necessary at the beginning in order to understand where to aim the process and make sure that it is done correctly, but some problems can really be resolved in one session. It is outstanding. The founder of this new kind of neuro-therapy, more effective than EMDR (so many colleagues who used EMDR are now turning to BWRT!), is Terence Watts in the UK.
